#2 is big sky.
#1 I can't really place where you were but I think that's 2nd level on the far west of the live block which I believe is Mosiac?
#3 at the beginning of the video is the hotel space.

Big Sky! Thats it... we ran into a cook and he was trying to remember the name. I have a vid of about 5 security guards fixing a door that was going into the venue in video #1 on the second floor. I also have a vid of my very first bum (at the P and L) asking me for change, but I wont put that one up

I kept walking around DT taking pictures and then 10 minutes later I hoped into my car and I drove to the city market to take more pictures and I saw him come out of the gas station (by The View?) with a bag of chips and a sandwhich Made me feel good.

Thats good. I was in San Francisco at a Carls Jr. and a bum came in asking everyone for money to buy something to eat. One guy went up to him and didn't give him money but bought him whatever he wanted for breakfast. After we were finished, we left and saw the same bum asking for money for food outside in front of the Carls Jr. I have also added Video 5 which has the front of Bristol and the Valet attendants.

I can't believe that you have never been hit up for change downtown. Do you live down here or do you just visit frequently. I would say that I get asked for change about 20% of the time when I am walking around at night. I was actually joking with a friend about just this tonight. Good to hear that the person actually used it to buy food. I rarely give them money. (Except on New Years 'cause I think everyone should have the opportunity to get drunk)

Update
Video 6 is up. This vid has very noisy birds roosting in the building diagonally across from the H and R Block building. The birds were also roosting in the H and R Block building too. I'm surprised we didn't get pooped on!

I live in Olathe but I use to go DT alot, a couple times a week. But now that I have a full time job and school I can't go DT much anymore and actually haven't been DT for over 4 months now I really don't know why I decided to give that guy money, it is the first and only time I have done so. I guess I was in a good mood that day

Update
Video 7 is of my non Sprint phone being laser etched at the Sprint Store at the P and L District. As a promotion they are laser etching phones for free, for a limited time! I have At&t and they didn't mind at all! BTW, My phone came with two batteries and two battery covers so I still have one thats completely clear.
Video 8 will have to wait till tomorrow. I have to chop it into two segments because its too big for youtube. It's a video of Raglan Road, Famous Dave and the Famous Dave pig, and the Sprint Store.

Thanks for all those. When did the guy say Big Sky would open? I thought I heard two weeks. Depending on one's interpretation of two weeks, that should put them opening up just when the Big XII tourney gets into town. (I might add that Big Sky is not on the Cordish website, nor do I remember it ever being announced as a tenant.) By the way, what time were out? How many people were out and about in the P&L District? Looked kind of empty but I guess that is what you would expect for a cold February night when not everything is open. Were the bars/restaurants crowded?

thanks for uploading those supa, pretty cool seeing stuff up close in video. By the way, what time were out? How many people were out and about in the P&L District? Looked kind of empty but I guess that is what you would expect for a cold February night when not everything is open. Were the bars/restaurants crowded? the district is still pretty quiet, last weekend there was still construction equipment and vehicles on the main streets, and 14th was intermittently closed off east of Main. But it looks like they've opened up 14th to traffic (at least last time i went by). The sidewalk on the west side of Main is still closed (since that's the primarily retail oriented area). I think we won't start to see significant non-event pedestrian activity until after the Big 12 as more places open up. On weeknights you can usually see a couple of folks walking up Grand to McFaddens and Vinino from the parking garage.

I made the vids on Thursday night. We went to a UMKC Basketball game at Municipal but we parked in the garage below McFadden's. There was hardly any foot traffic before or after the game at the P&L District. Everyone at the game just parked near Municipal. There was plenty of people at the restaurants but not to a point where you had to wait a while for a table. A good crowd but not crowded. I was also at the district on Tuesday when the Jonas Bros. were at the Sprint center. The place was infested by teenie boppers. I ended up just hanging out at the Sprint Store playing with there touch screen tables.

This is my video blog from opening night at the Kansas City Power and Light District. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ5a1T7MAZwHow do you embed the movie within the post? I can't find the option to do that?
