what is in people's mind to come onto a message board and attempt to trash a locally owned, friendly business?  sad.

It balances out, Powercat.  I'm sure those same people go to the locally owned, friendly businesses and attempt to trash this message board.

I don't know about you guys, but I live in the neighborhood and am an art nerd, and I recieve excellent service.

The truth is, I've known one of the owners for years - and he is very friendly to us.  I love this place - I can't see how service would ever be a problem here.

besides, what "service" are you really expecting?  you order at a counter, and someone from the kitchen brings the food to your table.

oh wait, justin just likes to complain about nothing.

Some of my faves...
- breakfast croissant
- breakfast casserole
- roasted chicken panini, one of best i've had
- flatbread might be the best

Tried the biscuits/gravy on recommendation and didn't think much of it.  Only thing a dud so far.  Anything else to try?  I haven't tried a quiche yet.

Their quiches never disappoint.  The breakfast casserole with a side of gravy is artery clogging amazing.
