Greek Islands Annie's Santa Fe The Old Spaghetti Factory Fuzzy's in Westport Longbranch Saloon (in Seville Square) The original Chubby's on Broadway Starz (I didn't go, but some younger friends did) Senor Frog (I didn't go, but some friends did a lot) Pogo's (ditto) Whatever the dance club was that is now McCoy's. Re: Closed Bars and Restaurants When you guys say "Sidney's," did you mean "Sydney's," the 50s-like diner slightly north of the Plaza? I loved their hot fudge sundaes because they put the hot fudge in paper cups so as not to melt the ice cream.
I just copied and pasted what others listed. I've been away so long, I don't know what has closed. Sydney's Italian Gardens Old Spaghetti Factory Colony Lobster Pot and Steakhouse Strouds South Fedora's The Bristol Houlihans KC Masterpiece Golden Ox Trader Vic's Annie's Santa Fe Longbranch Saloon White Castle Grinders. I think that's the name. It was on Westport. They shoved meatballs and cheese into a hollowed out hard roll and called the tasty sandwich a grinder. Maybe it's still there? Dunno. Victoria Station.
