Riverfront walk 4/24

Post by bones.25 »

Took a walk along the riverfront front today during lunch break since I wasn't hungry and it looked nice out. Lots of construction with kc current stadium finishing touches, the new bar, streetcar extension, and volleyball courts. It's amazing to me to see the transformation over the last ten years when the rugby practice field was the only thing around to today with an entire mini city rising up. My only gripe is they really need that pedestrian bridge built yesterday!

Thanks for all the pics! Still getting head around where all the pics are. Good for my brain. It really had nothing to get me down that way. Good old missouri river. Time to get out the fishing tackle and get some big catfish😁

It would have been a great day for fishing and I did see someone doing that.

As far as where these pics were taken I just walked the trail from Bally's (the old Flamingo) through Berkley Park to where the trail ends just before the Hannibal bridge.

I take it you work downtown but not live downtown.
Used to live downtown in the 1970s. Had all of it as my playground .

Looks odd and naked without the broadway Bridge. Have they turned back on the lights to the Bond Bridge?
